Founder and president of DayStar Properties, Pat Hundley is the driving force behind the DayStar developer team. Hundley’s lifelong love for the waterfront began along the shores of Michigan and Great Lakes. It was a natural progression for him to apply his property development expertise to the beaches of Costa Rica after discovering the charms of this irresistible Central American nation.
With nearly 20 years experience in successful property development in the Midwest and Costa Rica, Hundley has set the example for progress and change in Jaco Beach and surrounding areas of the central Pacific coast. His passion for Costa Rica is palpable in his numerous charitable efforts; and his dedication to the local community has helped him gain repute as a key player in the ongoing evolution of Jaco Beach.
The original architect on the DayStar developer team Carlos Castillo was chosen for his proven successes with similar projects in the area. Together with civil engineer Luis Diego Vargas, the DayStar team boasts some of the best local talent in the industry.
Internationally acclaimed architect firm, Visbeen Associates Inc. joined DayStar Properties in early 2008 to help plan and deliver our newest and most innovate condo projects. With a lifetime of commercial and residential architectural planning experience, Visbeen Associates principal, Wayne Visbeen, brings a wealth of creative talent and functional know-how to the DayStar developer team. In addition to his six Best in American Living Awards from the National Association of Home Builders, Visbeen has also earned ten awards of merit from the American Institute of Building Design.
